They make a diagnosis, at a reasonable price, and let us know what needs to be fixed and then we decide what we can afford at that point and what can wait until another time. I have a young daughter who lives in Albuquerque going to school. my wife and I don't live there. she called home to tell us her car wouldn't start until it was boosted. Knowing I had just put a new battery in for her, I was baffled. after a quick diagnosis by the techs at auto zone (where battery was bought) they told her it was her starter. that's when we began to do a search for a good mechanic. our friends highly recommended Brown's automotive. Not knowing anything about them, we went with their recommendation. the experience we had was great as they went out of their way to see that our daughters car was repaired in a timely manner. The problem ended up being something far less expensive than a starter and also included a complete diagnostic where they then found a few other immediate attention necessities. everything was fixed and my daughter was on her way without skipping a beat. the courtesy they extended was superior and more importantly, it made mom and dad comfortable with our choice. thank you to Charles Chavez for taking care of our daughter's transportation needs during this time.
