I first became familiar with Brown's Parts & Automotive back in November when AAA towed my car there over the header weekend. They were the only shop open that Friday and took great care of me. I recently returned for an oil change and brake fluid replacement. They were efficient with my time and did a great job on my car.

I was impressed with both the service and the price. The evaluation seems thorough and the pricing very competitive. The service took longer than expected, but the techs were in communication as promised and it wasn't a hardship. I think I've found my "new regular" auto service shop! UPDATE 2019: I've now been to Brown's on North 4th three times with my "classic" 2005 Subaru Baja... and I am STILL impressed with their commitment to a quality service experience. They have a great software system that let's me know how much everything will be, what the status of my repair is, and when its ready. I can reply by email if I need to change something or delay pickup, or otherwise communicate with my service adviser. And, when the time comes to pick up my vehicle, and have never yet been surprised with a charge that is higher than expected. In fact, it often has been a little bit less than expected... How great is that?!?!
