Wow. Honest, dependable, smart. It's all good. I've been doing business with Don's Auto Service since 2002. No regrets. Professional. When I can't fix it, he can.

Was from out of town and engine light came on. Went to net and checked for "reliable shop close to my hotel with good reviews" and found Brown's. They diagnosed the problem quickly and got on with the repair. I was on the road again by noon. I would recommend.

Finding the right mechanic is like finding the right doctor or hair dresser. They have to be trustworthy and above all else, GOOD, which, unfortunately, in all of these industries can be hit or miss and often you don't know for sure until it's too late. Don Brown Automotive is owned and operated by third generation automotive technicians whose knowledge of vehicles runs in the blood, along with their salt-of-the-earth work ethic and honesty, all exquisite traits that seem to be disappearing in our world by the day. In an industry that has gone from simple mechanics to high tech computers in one generation, the task that is laid out before the men and women of the automotive industry is on par with some of the best engineers in the world, a fact that is often taken for granted and overlooked by our society. The good, hard working people of Don Brown Automotive face the changing world of automotive technology head-on, boasting the best training and certifications the field has to offer. They can fix everything from your dad's 1977 Ford to your daughter's 2013 Prius, and if they don't know how, they will conduct the research and take the time to get the answers. These men take honor and pride in their work and I would recommend them to anybody, right along with my doctor and hairdresser. In fact, I trust them MORE than my doctor, because they don't "practice" mechanics, they do it, and they do it right.

Best experience I have had in a very long time. The shop owners and employees were very polite and friendly. They even let me take my car in for the day and gave me a ride to work. I had a minor oil leak and had several different shops look at the leak and quote me outrageous prices. Brown's Automotive was very reasonable and did a great job. I didn't feel like I was being ripped off or being charged for things I didn't need like some other shops do. I will only be going here for my car needs from now on.

Brought in my 1964 Chevelle Malibu for a diagnostic check on systems and to see why the points were burning out rapidly. They are very professional, take the time to explain what they find and recommend work to be done by priority to help decide how to budget for it. I didn't feel I was being taken for a "ride". They take the time to explain thoroughly rather than look at you and act as if you are an ignorant fool like so many mechanics are wont to do. Nice touch was the follow up call a week later to see how the car was getting along. Oh, and the wonderfully preserved old Route 66 station is an added plus. Thanks for being thoughtful!

Back pads/rotos and front pads. They did it all in one day. Worked late to get it done. Extremely good service. They gave me a ride home, friendly, and called a couple weeks after to check up on the car. Brakes are working great. The price was a bit on the higher end but I think most people feel that way about auto repair. Total came out to be ~600.

Brett, thank you for choosing Don Brown's. It was our pleasure to fix your brakes and get you back on the road safely. We are always here for our customers, even if that means staying open a little later than usual. Thank you for the opportunity to work on your vehicle. We look forward to helping you with any of your repair or maintenance needs in the future. Thanks again!
