Friendly staff, good work, fast turnaround, knowledgeable, professional and fair prices. And they make appointments that respect your time. What's not to like? My new "go-to" for vehicle service. Follow up 3/30/23: As before, but add that they are very thorough in checking your vehicle over. Spotted a problem that I didn't know about. 9/23/2024: Another good visit. Very thorough yet very quick although I believe they were short staffed that day. Update 03/25: They no longer book appointments to wait, you have to drop it off. I have no ride, so I will need to look elsewhere. Too bad.

They charged me 119.95 for diagnostics. When I came in I had done the diagnostics and told them what the problem was which was the clockspring. Many places will do diagnostics for free. They also diagnosed an electrical problem with turn signal rear bulb and charged $60 to fix a loose wire and bulb. They are overpriced for their other services also. I will never go back to them. Do not go here.....The story goes on. I just got call from Brown’s. I assume the lady who called was the manager or part owner. She asked me to make her understand the problem was which was clearly stated above (a very condescending and defensive start to the conversation the way it was said). She asked what she could do to keep our business. I responded that it was her decision. (The solution was obvious... refund me the $119.95 + some of the $60 excess charge for the light bulb.). She said I understand and hung up on me. Again I state don’t go here. The lesson here is that she didn’t care about solving an obvious problem. I am perplexed because many places do not charge diagnostic fees (Meineke, Pep Boys, some parts stores, etc.) and they. advertise as such. Why did she not see this as the main problem I don’t know. By the way my wife and her adult son listened to the conversation and were equally disappointed by Her response. I also want to make it clear that this the Rio Rancho Brown’s Automotive and that the review does NOT apply to their 2 locations on 4th Street in Albuqerque.
