Although Jiffy Lube is closer, I have been taking my car to Brown's for at least 6-7 years for an oil change. They always provide me with a detailed inspection report re other things such as belts, tires, power steering fluid and never pressure me into saying yes to anything I don't feel I need. At 13 years of age, I knew my car would start requiring more to keep her running well. Brown's advised a new timing belt as the old was cracked and advised they would also like to change everything else while they were in there to save me the labor later. They quoted me $1150 and gave me the bill for $1068. I feel good every time when I go to Brown's and shall continue to go there for all my automotive needs. I feel fortunate they are in my neighborhood.

excellent service. For years, Brown's Automotive has kept our 1995 Chevy Lumina running with regular check-ups and repairs. They take great care, not only with the car, but in communication with us. They try to reach understanding between us and them. A very educational-oriented firm.

Older, clean shop on 4th Street NW. The mechanics seem to know their stuff. There are older cars outside (belonging to mechanics?) that look almost new because they are so well maintained. I tend to drive older cars, that I like to maintain well, so I will keep going back. For some of us, most I suppose, cars are one of the top, major expenses we have. I wish I could tell you that this shop is cheaper than others, but I cannot. I think you will get a fair deal. If you drive an older car, this is a decent place to go. Since I do not have a new car, I can't say about that.

First time customer at Don's Auto and Services Center. Took my truck there for a brake light and signal problem. Don's diagnosed problem in a very timely manner. Cost for repair was very reasonable. Great customer service! To boot I had my battery replaced with a quality battery at a cost I couldn't have done cheaper myself. Dee in the front office was friendly and took care of me quickly.
