This is the second time Brown's has saved my butt. Last year the A/C went out on my Jeep. They had it fixed (rebuilt) in a day and it was really hot at the time. This time the oil cooler on my Jeep failed, spewing engine oil all over. Had to be brought in with a tow truck. This happened 1 week before we were leaving for Colorado to wheel up in the mountains. I figured no way they could get it done in time; "parts are in Denver" blah blah, but no, they took me in right away and had the part in stock! (Apparently Jeeps eat up their oil coolers often) Had my Jeep back within 24 hours! Their prices are always reasonable and they are always up front and honest about billing. Highly recommend this shop.

I recently had the opportunity to buy a new-to-me used car. I felt that it was in good condition, but still wanted to make sure before committing. I brought it to Browns Automotive Experts on 4th Street for a pre-purchase inspection, and I was really impressed. They gave me a clear, detailed report that broke everything down into “good,” “monitor,” and “needs attention.” No big issues, only normal wear and tear, and the need for a new set of tires. They were upfront, fair on pricing, and easy to talk to—no pressure to fix anything that didn’t need fixing for now. I felt like they were genuinely looking out for me. I ended up buying the car and had them do the maintenance and tires. The whole experience was low stress, which is saying something because I normally hate dealing with car stuff.
