Brown’s automotive experts are just that Automotive Experts along with the family atmosphere and ownership. They have loyal employees that transfers into wanting to do the job right. I’ve never met a better set of owners that the two Browns Brothers together there isn’t a thing that can’t be fixed and they give that drive to there techs. I was impressed with both the service and the price. The evaluation seems thorough and the pricing very competitive. The service took longer than expected, but the techs were in communication as promised and it wasn't a hardship. I think I've found my "new regular" auto service shop! UPDATE 2019: I've now been to Brown's on North 4th three times with my "classic" 2005 Subaru Baja... and I am STILL impressed with their commitment to a quality service experience. They have a great software system that let's me know how much everything will be, what the status of my repair is, and when its ready. I can reply by email if I need to change something or delay pickup, or otherwise communicate with my service adviser. And, when the time comes to pick up my vehicle, and have never yet been surprised with a charge that is higher than expected. In fact, it often has been a little bit less than expected... How great is that?!?!

When traveling the last thing anyone wants to cross are car problems! Well in this case No heater, coming from a very warm climate to a bitter cold one was not on our agenda. After calling several places and hearing a disconcerting "We have no time take a number". I CAME ACROSS Brown Automotive! The sweet voice said "When can you be here"? They fixed our heater, after informing us of the problem and the cost involved! Thanks to team at the New location in Rio Rancho NM. Kim & Richard.

The location on 4th st and Los Ranchos did not fill my transmission fluid up near enough and I started having trouble with it not going into gear and shifting weird. The location on Golfcourse said both of my coolant hoses were leaking.both upper and lower. They said they replaced both of them. I kept smelling coolant, so took it to another mechanic for a second opinion. He showed me the lower hose was not new and he showed me the crack in the radiator.

Thank you for your review Donna, it is helps us improve our company and customer service. I have looked into your concerns. It is our policy to keep all old parts to show customers at their request until the vehicle is picked up. However if the hose was not replaced, we would be happy to reimburse you. We would need the hose they claim was not replaced so that we could return it to our vendor. Our supplier invoice shows both hoses where purchased from our local supplier.
