Browns automotive is very thorough and very expensive. I would say at the top end above dealer costs. The work quoted on my vehicle required one and a half to two hours labor and browns was going to charge around $1,400. Parts additional 700. I bought the parts online for $50 and installed them myself in 2 hours. I didn't really want to do the work myself. If you think those costs are reasonable and it's not price gouging but I'm sure they don't pay there mechanics $650 an hour. I'm still investigating the costs associated with all the other items they quoted I will post those online for the Publix review. I went in there and told them the fan motor on my air conditioner was making very loud noises and probably some kind of animal made a nest in there cuz the vehicle sat idle for a while. Browns charge me $80 to tell me what I just told them that the fan motor needed to be replaced. I don't think they took the car apart to look at it they just listen to it like I did. Sure enough when I took the fan motor o ut it was a little nest built inside it I'm sure the motor wasn't damaged and still working condition but I still replaced it. But they did take a lot of pictures and were very thorough with letting me know all the items that needed to be worked on. But I guess the consumer pays for all those fancy computers and pictures and all their employees insurance social security costs fancy buildings. On and on.

Got an appointment quickly. Service was great. Easy drop off, checked over throughly, contacted us with pictures of necessary work. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Brown's Automotive on Signal Ave. is pricey, but well worth the money. They actually care about what they do, do what they charge you for, and are very communicative with you. It's a business that seems to understand that they can't make any money without their customers. A very novel approach from what I've experienced.

The technicians are highly skilled and the management is super committed to customer satisfaction. These folks are auto problem solvers! The inspection was very thorough (worth every penny), easy to understand and fully documented with photo proof. Browns Auto Experts has a great network and knowledge about where to source parts very quickly and although they to work through several attempts to get the right parts the work was completed on time. I was treated extremely well and even shuttled to and from the nearby golf course. I won’t be going anywhere else for support and expertise in caring for our cars. A great company - total excellence in every aspect!
